Finest Kind is a 2003 36 feet Contender Center Console with triple 250hp Yamaha outboard engines. She was built for one thing: To help you catch more fish. She cruises at 35 knots, so you have more time to fish and less time to ride. She has a wide beam of 10 feet, and length of 36 feet with a steep dead rise of 24 degrees to help in rough sea conditions. She is equipped with all the latest safety gear, including 406 MHz EPIRB (Emergency Position-Indicating Radio Beacons), life raft, commercial life vests, solar flares, throw ring, and first aid kit. The Finest Kind has top-of-the-line electronics onboard, with 36 mile radar, 15" color scope, GPS Navnet unit, and an Icom VHF radio. She also has Clarion CD and radio sound system. We use
only the best fishing equipment, with Penn rods and reels, downriggers and taco grand slam outriggers, with three live bait wells to cover any type of fishing you might want. Whether you are catching Spanish mackerel along shore, pulling grouper up from the deep, or trolling for the "Big One" in the Gulf Stream, the Finest Kind will get it done!
       ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The fishing off our coast is truly amazing with all the different species to catch. Bottom fishing will provide lots of rod bending, arm pumping action in which you will catch species like gag, grouper, red grouper, scamp grouper, and strawberry grouper, gray snapper, vermillion snapper, red snapper, silver snapper, triggerfish, black bass, spadefish, cobia, amberjack, red drum, flounder, sharks, and many other species. That's the wonderful part of bottom fishing; you never know what your going to bring up. When you're trolling, there are also a lot of different species to catch, like dolphin, king mackerel, Spanish mackerel, bluefish, false albacore, bonito, cobia, yellow fin tuna, black fin tuna, wahoo, barracuda, sailfish, blue marlin, and many other species.
No matter what type of fishing you like we can help you out. There is nothing like being on the open ocean and seeing all the life out there. Frequently, you will see a bottlenose dolphin following the boat, flying fish that come up out of the water and glide for long distances to escape danger, and other wondrous sights. It is truly an amazing world in the deep blue sea.
